Connaught Telegraph, Castlebar, Ireland order Sales.WORKS and Plan.WORKS

The Connaught Telegraph based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland have placed an order with IPA for a Sales.WORKS advertising sales system and Plan.WORKS RoP for the creation of electronic plans.

Castlebar is one of the fastest growing towns on the west coast of Ireland and the Connaught Telegraph's growth in advertising volume have made the introduction of a publishing system a necessity to reduce duplication of tasks, automate and streamline workflow, to increase accuracy and create extra time to devote to creative and innovative newspaper design and customer care.

IPA is particularly pleased that the order includes Plan.WORKS, the new database planning system for Run of Paper and Classified advertising. The RoP module will be used to plan the whole publication and then Flow.WORKS for InDesign, an IPA InDesign plug-in, will create individual pages for editorial makeup and flow advertisements onto the page automatically.

To further reduce duplication of tasks, IPA will provide a two-way interface to the company sales ledger system. Orders will be automatically posted and customer account information will be accurate on the Sales.WORKS system.

Installation is due early spring.
